Spectrum Workflow allows you to define and enforce specific rules on your Spectrum processes. Not only can the user easily see all steps that are currently assigned to them, they can quickly approve, reject or mark that the step has been completed. The full history of each transaction processed through workflow is always available.
Key Benefits Include
- Full Screen Integration: Workflow is seamlessly integrated into Spectrum through its own Info Bar.
- Workflow Definitions: These are templates that define what triggers the workflow and what happens when it is finished.
- User Definable Steps: Each workflow definition contains steps or tasks that are defined by you to meet your organization’s needs and objectives. Steps can be processed sequentially or in parallel. Each step is assigned to a user, a group of users, a role or the person who initially entered the transaction. It includes instructions, due dates, notes and the ability to view the entire workflow assigned to the transaction. The history of each step is recorded within the system as well.
- Notifications: The My Current Workflow Assignments app keeps your users up to date on tasks that have been assigned to them. The app will link the user to the specific screen where the step is to be completed.
- Management Overview and Control: Use the Workflow Management screen to monitor, reassign or even complete the steps of other users. Also, each definition allows for a unique set of overrides users. These “super users” can always jump into an existing workflow process and complete it when desired.
Spectrum Workflow’s initial release is scheduled this fall in the 14.13 Service Pack.
